MISSIONARY SUPPORT

Currently we at GLBBC prayerfully & financially support almost 300 missionaries to 56 countries under the umbrella of Asian Baptist Clearinghouse in Manila. Lord willing we will support more until Jesus comes, please keep them in your constant prayers.

 

OUTREACH PROGRAM

The souls of men are important to us, and we know they are precious to God. As a church we recognize our responsibility to carry out the Great Commission, which is to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature. We have regular outreach in our local community where we go out in public and distribute gospel tracts and witness to people one on one as we have opportunity.

PRAYER MEETING

At Gospel Light Bible Baptist Church, we believe in the power of prayer and in the importance of lifting our hearts together before the Lord. Every Wednesday evening, our church family gathers not only to study God’s Word, but also to unite in prayer. After a short message, we divide into small groups and spend 20–30 minutes praying over specific church prayer requests, personal needs, and the needs of our community.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Children’s Sunday School is a place where kids can learn and grow in God’s Word in a way that is fun and engaging. Each class is designed to teach biblical truths through age-appropriate lessons, songs, and activities that help children grow in their faith and love for Jesus. . We believe that building a strong foundation in Scripture at an early age helps prepare children to walk with the Lord for a lifetime.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our Youth Ministry is a tight-knit group of teens and young adults, starting from age 13 and up, who are growing together in Christ and encouraging one another along the way. Each Sunday morning before the main service, we meet for Youth Sunday School where we dive into God’s Word and learn how to apply it to everyday life. Once a month, we gather for Youth Night, a time of fun games, food, and fellowship, often joined by youth from other churches.

BIBLE STUDIES

Each week, we gather in different homes across Auckland for small-group Bible studies. These studies provide a warm and welcoming setting to fellowship, encourage one another, and grow deeper in God’s Word together. We currently have groups meeting in South Auckland, North Auckland, and Central Auckland, giving families and individuals the opportunity to connect in their local area.

LADIES FELLOWSHIP

Once a month on a Saturday, the ladies of our church gather together for a special time of fellowship and encouragement. We enjoy a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, games, and other creative projects, always paired with laughter and sweet conversation. Each meeting also includes a devotion from God’s Word, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow closer to one another, build lasting friendships, and strengthen our walk with the Lord.

MENS FELLOWSHIP

Every month on a Saturday, the men of our church are invited to gather for a time of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth. It’s a setting where men can enjoy one another’s company around both physical and spiritual food. Each meeting includes a short devotion from the Bible and a time of prayer together, helping us to strengthen our faith and support one another in our walk with the Lord.

COUPLES NIGHT

Each year around February, our church hosts a special evening dedicated to celebrating the gift of Christian marriage. Couples Night is a formal-attire event filled with laughter, games, fellowship, and encouragement as we rejoice in the love God has given. While the adults fellowship, the youth kindly look after the children, making it a blessing for all.

ORCHESTRA

Our church is blessed with an orchestra that plays each Sunday during worship and congregational hymns.The orchestra is made up of members of all ages and skill levels who use their musical gifts to glorify the Lord. We are thankful for our dedicated music directors who help train beginners who wish to learn instruments such as violin, guitar, flute, and piano.

CHURCH OUTINGS

On most public holidays, our church comes together for a special outing filled with fun, fellowship, and family-friendly activities. The day includes outdoor games, team competitions, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to grow closer as a church family, and celebrate the joy of fellowship in Christ.

CHURCH CAMP

Each year, around public holidays, our church looks forward to Church Camp. During camp, we enjoy daily sermons, engaging games , and plenty of fellowship, creating memories and spiritual growth for all ages. Church Camp is a time to step away from our daily routines, focus on God’s Word, strengthen relationships within our church family,
